Vanessa Tan

Tan is responsible for talent management and internal operations coordination, serving as a key link that ensures efficient collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. She joined the company right after graduating from university, starting from a junior administrative role, and through the company’s training and hands-on experience, gradually grew into a capable HR professional. Tan holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and is a certified trainer accredited by the Malaysian Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp), with a deep understanding of talent development in multicultural environments.

Fluent in English and Cantonese, she is familiar with the social and business context in the Kuala Lumpur area where Cantonese is widely used as a lingua franca. She oversees the entire process from talent sourcing to onboarding integration, with a particular focus on recruiting multidisciplinary research talents who combine global strategic insight with local policy sensitivity. She also leads internal knowledge-sharing and capacity-building workshops, fostering professional integration among geopolitical analysts, industry experts, and local policy specialists.
